Falcons place 11th at CSU Ram Masters

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Air Force golf team placed 11^th at the annual CSU Ram Masters, Tuesday, Sept. 17, at the Fort Collins Country Club. Colorado State, the host school, was the only team under par, finishing with a 281 (-9) to win the 17-team tournament. CSU Fullerton was second (+6) and Wyoming was third (+7).

Air Force's final round 290 (+10) tied as the seventh best among all teams Tuesday. The Falcons finished the two-day, 54-hole tournament at 868 (+28).

Senior Josh Wu was the top Falcon, tying for 20^th overall at 213 (+3). Fellow senior Anson Kuznik tied for 35^th overall at 216 (+6). Each shot an even-par 70 in the final round. Sophomores Luke Trujillo and (218), Jonathan Farmer (224) and freshman Isaac Layne (225) rounded out the scoring. Sophomore Colter Baca, competing as an individual, shot a 221.

Air Force is now idle until the Jerry Pate Intercollegiate, Oct. 7-8, in Birmingham, Ala. The tournament, hosted by the University of Alabama, features several of the nation's top teams.
