Men's Swimming Rolls by Seattle, 142-63

The Falcons won seven of the 11 events contested
USAFA, Colo. – The Air Force Academy men's swimming and diving team rolled to another dual win over Western Athletic Conference foe Seattle University, 142-63, Saturday afternoon, Jan. 18, at the Cadet Natatorium. A day after sweeping all 13 events over the Redhawks, AF won seven of the 11 today, while taking second place in the other four.
Starting with the 200 medley relay, seniors Cole McAnany and Zach Nelson, as well as sophomores Aaron Pang and Matthew Lattin took first place. AF also had four of their wins come with 1-2-3 finishes, first in the 200 free with freshman Wen Zhang, junior Erik Orr, and sophomore Corey Shepard going for the top three slots.
Then in the 100 fly, Lattin was followed closely by Pang and sophomore Andrew Limpert. In the 100 back, McAnany took first followed by freshman Gabriel Bartolomei and sophomore Isaac Gwin. The final 1-2-3 was in the 100 breast, as Nelson took first, followed by senior Andrew Weiss and freshman David Tao.
The final individual win came in the 100 free, as Zhang took first. He was followed in second place by Shepard. Lastly, the 200 free relay came in first, with Lattin, Limpert, freshman Jaykob Williams, and junior Vincent Vivadelli taking gold.
The Falcons will have the final swimming event of the regular season on Saturday, Feb. 1, when they host Denver for the annual Colorado Sprint Championships. Action at the Cadet Natatorium will begin at noon.
