Falcons Add to Indoor Track and Field Schedule

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. – Air Force track and field head coach Ralph Lindeman recently announced the addition of a third indoor meet at the Academy this year – the Championships at the Peak competition in late February. The meet, slated to take place Feb 25-27, will be the third home meet for the Falcons at the Cadet Field House during the 2021 indoor season.

Following the Air Force Invitational, which is already at capacity, the Falcons will host the Air Force Collegiate Open on Feb. 19 and the Championships at the Peak on Feb. 25-27.

The latest addition to the Falcons' schedule – the Championships at the Peak meet – will be a championship-caliber competition for programs that have seen their conference championship weekends cancelled for the 2021 season. The meet, which will use NCAA Scoring rules, will include heptathlon and pentathlon competition.

Detailed information on the Air Force Collegiate Open and the Championships at the Peak meet will be available during the week of January 25. In the meantime, interested coaches can call Coach Lindeman at 719-333-2173 for more information.
