The Falcons concluded the 2019-20 regular season with a13-5 dual meet record, which is their highest winning percentage for a dual meet season, their best dual record since going 17-3 back in 2014.
Air Force has three swimmers with season times within the top-10 in their respective events, including junior Kylie Stronko, who is fourth in the 100 back (54.78). AF has two in the 200 breast, including senior Heidi Schellin who is seventh (2:14.84) and freshman Kimmy Woolfenden who is 10th (2:16.92).
At last year's championships, AF had two swimmers place in the top-eight to earn All-Conference honors. Stronko was one of them, placing eighth in the 200 back.
As a team, the Falcons placed 10th at the championships with a team score of 409. The greatest amount of success came individually, as there were two new school records from Stronko in both backstroke events, while 14 swims found their way into the top-10 in program history.
The four-day championship opens on Wednesday, Feb. 19 at 11:30 a.m. MT when the league's divers compete for the one-meter springboard title. In the evening session, the 200-yard medley relay and the 800-yard freestyle relay will occur as well as the finals of the one-meter springboard.
