
Air Force Downed At Nevada

RENO, Nevada - Air Force men's basketball fell to Nevada, 88-54, in Mountain West action Tuesday night at Lawlor Events Center. Senior Lavelle Scottie led the Falcons with 19 points.
Jalen Harris scored a career-high 38 points for Nevada, with Nisre Zouzoua adding 15.
The Falcons struggled to get its offense going, shooting 33 percent from the field and 25 percent from three-point range. Nevada Shot 51 percent from the field and dominated the glass, out-rebounding Air Force 49-29.
Scottie was 8 of 19 shooting for the Falcons, with five rebounds and three steals. Scottie moved into sixth place all-time in scoring at Air Force with 1,396 career points, surpassing Jarmica Reese.
Ryan Swan and Carter Murphy scored six points each. Swan also grabbed a team-high six rebounds and Murphy scored both his buckets on three's, adding three rebounds.
Caleb Morris and Ameka Akaya added five points each.
Air Force returns to action Saturday, Feb. 8, hosting #4 San Diego State. The game tips at 6 pm MT and will be broadcast by CBS Sports Network.
