USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force women's tennis defeated Sacramento State, 4-0, Friday night at the Cadet Indoor Tennis Courts. The Falcons have now won six in a row, improving to 10-4 on the season.
The Falcons picked up the doubles point after rallying back from a loss at No. 2 doubles (Kerrigan and Jones). Alex Kuo and Courtney Swift won at No. 3 and #32 TJ Fumagalli and Nadeen Lieberman completed the rally with a win at No. 1 for the point.
Playing a clinch/clinch format, the Falcons swept the singles competition. Lieberman opened with a win at No. 3 by the score of 6-0, 6-1. Sydney Fitch then won at No. 5 with a score of 6-0, 6-2. Fumagalli clinched the dual with a win at No. 1 by the score of 6-2, 6-1.
Air Force returns to action March 20, hosting Wyoming.
