Bautista and Hendrix Earn All-Mountain West Men’s Tennis Honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Juniors Jamie Bautista and Paul Hendrix of Air Force were named to the 2019-20 Mountain West All-Conference Men's Tennis team, announced today by the conference office. Hendrix earned All-MW singles honors in addition to All-MW doubles honors with Bautista.
Hendrix posted a 12-9 record as Air Force's No. 1 singles player. The junior went 7-6 in dual competition all at No. 1 singles. In doubles, Bautista and Hendrix combined to go 9-3 as a duo at No. 1 doubles, all in dual competition.
"I'm really excited for Paul and Jamie," head coach Dan Oosterhous said. "They both stepped up to fill tough roles this year and they rose to the challenge. It's great to see their hard work recognized in this way".
The Falcon men's tennis team completed the season with a 10-3 in dual competition. Its .769 win percentage is the best since 2003 and the second-winningest season in the Mountain West era.
