"Patrick had a checkered career across his first 11 seasons and three sports," head coach Ralph Lindeman said. "He competed in no fewer than eight Mountain West Championship meets, ran on two cross country teams that placed in the Top 20 at the NCAA Championships, and ran on a Drake Relays Champion 4x1600-meter relay. Yet I consider his breakthrough season to be the recently completed 2020 indoor season, and his best race ever as a Falcon was his last – at the 2020 Mountain West Indoor Championships. I would have loved to have watched Patrick's 2020 outdoor season. Although he'll be busy operating for the USAF as an Air Battle Manager, I hope Patrick will continue to find a way to race. He clearly has a love for it!"
