USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Isabella Flodin joins Air Force women's tennis as part of the class of 2024, announced today by head coach Kim Gidley. Flodin joins fellow freshman Hailey Stelse as the two members of the freshman class for Falcon women's tennis.
The freshman duo began their journey as cadets on Thursday, June 25, and will be participating in Basic Cadet Training (BCT).
"Isabella comes to our program as being one of the highest ranked doubles players we have recruited in the history of our program," Gidley said. "Our program focuses a lot on doubles and it has proven to be an integral part of our success, so we are super excited about the immediate impact Isabella is going to have on the team. Off the court, Isabella has already put herself in challenging situations by attending and excelling at the French taught Dallas International School, and is the right fit to accept the challenges the Air Force Academy presents on a daily basis with our military training and vigorous academics. It will be fun to see how Isabella excels in all three areas."
