Air Force Men’s Tennis Earns ITA Academic Honors

Air Force men's tennis picked up both team and individual accolades from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. The Falcons were named an ITA All-Academic Team for the 2019-20 season. In addition, three cadet-athletes earned ITA Scholar-Athlete designations.
Senior Mack Galvin, junior Sean McKendree and freshman Justin Waldman earned Scholar-Athlete honors. To be on the earn Scholar-Athlete designation, athletes were required to have at least a 3.5 GPA for the academic year and be listed on the institutional eligibility form.
To earn an ITA All-Academic Team designation, the team must have a team GPA above 3.2.
Air Force had a banner season in the classroom, as four players earned Mountain West All-Academic honors, the second most in program history. Its three MW Scholar-Athletes is the third best season ever.
