Calhoun, players meet with media to discuss Navy game

Air Force Head Coach Troy Calhoun and seniors Ben Peterson (WR) and Grant Donaldson (OLB) talked with the media today to discuss the Navy game on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 4 p.m. in Falcon Stadium. This week's game is televised by CBS Sports Network and on the radio at KVOR-AM 740 in Colorado Springs and 104.3 The Fan in Denver.
The safety and well-being of cadets, coaches, staff and the local community have been at the forefront of Air Force's decisions throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. The Academy has been working closely with local and state public health officials and has determined that, due to the accommodations and size of Falcon Stadium, the only fans allowed at the game will be Air Force Academy cadets, who will be seated in twos (roommates), social distanced and wearing masks. The base remains closed and there will be no tailgating allowed.
The 2020 season marks the 49th year of Commander-in-Chief's trophy competition. The trophy goes annually to the winning academy with the best record in the round-robin competition. The winning team goes to the White House to receive the trophy from the President of the United States. The Falcons have a series-best 61-35 overall record and 20 titles.
