Favorite Hobbies: "It's nice to finally have some time for some hobbies. One of the things I am looking forward to is the hunting season in the local area, it is something I grew up doing and I am excited to get back to. I have also been getting into a lot of car and motorcycle work—not so much riding them but helping my father work on and rebuild them."
While at USAFA, what was your favorite thing/memory with the soccer team: "I miss eating with the boys. After a long day of soccer and academics, sharing meals and getting to enjoy time over dinner with your best friends means a lot. Sometimes I think I may have taken those experiences a little bit for granted but I have plenty of good memories."
After graduation, what do you miss most about the soccer team: "I miss the everyday comradery. I still keep in touch with a lot of classmates and teammates but FaceTiming or calling isn't really the same. Getting the chance to see everybody every day, whether it was at practice, up on the hill, or even afterwards doing homework, is something I miss."
Advice for the soccer team: "The times are always changing, as you move forward you come across a lot of challenges, but if you take them on together things will always end up better. As you take on these different challenges, regardless of what they are, tackling them with your friends and teammates will always help you see it through and be successful, as individuals and as a team."
