Air Force wraps up 2021 hosting New Mexico (Nov 16) and traveling to Fresno State (Nov 18).
The Air Force Volleyball season concludes this week with a pair of conference contests. The Falcons wrap up the home portion of the 2021 campaign against New Mexico on Tuesday, Nov. 16, before traveling to Fresno State for the final match of the year on Thursday, Nov. 18.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
New Mexico is currently 18-9 on the year and 9-7 in conference play, after splitting a homestand with UNLV (1-3 loss) and San Diego State (3-0 win) last week. The Lobos are ranked among the conference's top five in opponent hitting (fourth, .211), digs (fifth, 12.77) and blocks (fifth, 2.23) during Mountain West action, while Kaitlynn Biassou is ranked second in kills (3.95) and points (4.57). Fresno State enters the Air Force match with an 11-13 overall mark and a 7-9 record in the Mountain West, after dropping a pair of road matches at Wyoming (1-3) and Colorado State (0-3) last week. The Bulldogs lead the conference in service aces (1.85) and hold a No. placement in blocks (2.47) during league play, while Grace Doyle (second in aces, 0.44) and Kasey Purry (fourth in blocks, 1.24) are ranked in the individual top five.

Air Force is 6-41 all-time against New Mexico, with three of its victories coming during the last four seasons. The Falcons, who fell in three to the Lobos in Albuquerque during this year's conference opener, have defeated New Mexico at the Academy four times. Air Force improved to 10-11 in the all-time series with Fresno State following a sweep of the Bulldogs at the Academy earlier this year – and holds a 10-7 record as conference opponents. The Falcons have won seven of the last nine contests against the Bulldogs, including two of the last three at the Save Mart Center.

Joi Harvey is ranked among the conference's top 10 in both hitting (second, .385) and blocks (sixth, 1.13) during all matches, while holding the No. 4 placement in hitting (.386) during conference contests. The sophomore is one of two Falcons ranked among the league's top 10 in MW contests, as BrookeLyn Messenger is ranked fourth in service aces with a 0.38 average.
