The Buffaloes went on to win five of six singles matches. Fitch won at No. 3 for the Falcons over Antonia Balzert 6-3, 7-6.

"Colorado served big today and came out on fire," head coach Kim Gidley said. "For the second year, Sydney Fitch won her singles match in straight sets. When Sydney got challenged, she stepped up her game. Meredith Jones had match points at no. 1 singles - but fell short in an epic tie-breaker for the third set. It was a battle the entire way and I was so proud of her for coming back after losing the first set 6-1. We are making progress - but still can make some huge strides."
Air Force returns to action March 6, hosting Army.
