The game winner came off the foot of freshman Jordi Ives in the eighth minute. It was the first goal of her AF career. She was assisted by sophomore Faith Lee. In total, the offense rattled off six shots, with four of them on net. On defense, freshman Cammi Bych, in her second career start, registered the shutout with seven saves.

Sunday marks Senior Day for the Class of 2021. In a ceremony taking place pre-game, the women's soccer program will honor five players and two managers who have left an indelible mark on the team. They will be managers Mitch Brunke and Alexis Springfield, as well as players Danielle Katz, Brittany Mahowald, Jillian Jamero, Emma Nelson, and Alex Giggie.
