Men’s Swim and Dive finish behind BYU, 197-136

PROVO – Men's swimming and diving was outscored at Brigham Young, 197.00-136.00, in a two-day dual meet at BYU. The Falcons saw winners in five events with 18 finishes in the top-three.
Air Force's 400 freestyle relay team took the top finish as Andrew Limpert, Joseph Moore, Jacob Bulseco and Corey Shepard swam to a 3:03.89 finish. Individually, Limpert took the top spot in the 100 butterfly with a 49.56, and took second in the 200 butterfly clocking a 1:51.33.
Junior teammate Gabe Bartolomei led the Falcons in the 100 backstroke where he finished first (51.34) ahead of teammates Joseph Moore (52.33) and Gharret Brockman (54.42). Bartolomei also took second in the 200 backstroke with a 1:53.52.
Air Force diver Alex Kenyon took second in two diving events, scoring a 332.18 on the one-meter dive and a 291.45 on the three-meter dive.
Next up, the Falcons take a short break in action as they prepare for the Colorado Sprint Championships, January 29, hosted at the University of Denver.
