COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.- Joe Robison, who led the Air Force baseball program for 14 years between two tenures as head coach, will be inducted into the Colorado Dugout Club Coaches Association Hall of Fame on Saturday, January 22.
Robison, also known as the "Father of Air Force Baseball", won 282 career games manning the Falcon dugout, most in program history. Robison led the 1979 team to a 33-13 record, the highest win total in school history. His 1980 team was 27-9-1 and posted the second-best winning percentage in school history. Robison led the Falcons to eight winning seasons, the most of any coach in AFA history.
Robison led the Falcons into a new era in 1981 as the Falcons joined the Western Athletic Conference.
