Air Force Sweeps Metro State To Remain Unbeaten

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force women's tennis swept a doubleheader with Metro State Saturday in non-conference action at the USAFA Indoor Tennis Courts. The Falcons improved to 4-0 on the season.

In the morning dual, the Falcons scored the first six points to coast to the win. Air Force swept doubles play and won the first five singles matches.

In doubles, the duo of Sydney Fitch and Isabella Flodin won at No. 1 6-3. Alex Kuo and Hailey Stelse won at No. 2, 6-3. Alexis Odom and Andrea Le won at No. 3, 6-4.

In singles, Fitch won at No. 1, 6-0, 6-0. Vivian Glozman won at No. 2, 6-0, 6-0. Kuo won at No. 3, 6-3, 7-5. At No. 4, Stelse won 6-2, 6-1. Odom won at No. 5, 6-2, 6-0.

In the afternoon dual, the Falcons earned the doubles point and swept the singles competition in straight sets.

In doubles, the Falcons posted wins at No. 2 and No. 3 to earn the point. Fitch and Flodin won at No. 2, 6-4. Odom and Le won at No. 3, 6-3.

In singles Glozman won at No. 1, 6-3, 6-0. Fitch won at No. 2, 6-1, 6-0. Stelse won at No. 3, 6-1, 7-6. Kuo won at No. 4, 6-1, 6-0. Flodin won at No. 5, 6-4, 6-1. Odom won at No. 6, 6-1, 6-2.

Air Force returns to action Feb. 2, at Colorado.
