BRINGING IT HOME
The Falcons return to Cadet Soccer Stadium for their final home-stint of the season, playing host to the Western Athletic Conference's second and third-place teams. On Friday (Oct. 28), Air Force (7-4-2, 6-0 WAC) takes on WAC's second-ranked San Jose State (8-4-2, 4-1-1 WAC) at 6 p.m. On Sunday (Oct. 30), The Falcons host third-ranked Seattle U for Senior Day. Action on Sunday is slated for 1 p.m.
SENIOR SO-LONGS
Air Force will be honoring nine players and a manager prior to the match on Sunday. Team captain London Aghedo alongside senior teammates Jake Angeletti, Matt Benson, Nick Bourgeois, Elijah Bussey, John Byszewski, Jake Chaffetz, Luke Hill, Tyler Johnson, and manager Keenan Sweeney, will partake in their last regular season match as cadets at Cadet Soccer Stadium.
POST SEASON CLINCHED
The Falcons have officially clinched a spot in the 2022 WAC Tournament, hosted by California Baptist in Riverside, California, November 9-13. The post-season berth marks the sixth-straight appearance, 10th all-time, at the WAC tournament. The Falcons have a combined 7-7-2 (.500) record and a conference tournament title in the spring of 2021.
All 10 teams in the WAC remain mathematically in the running to be among the six teams in the field at the 2022 WAC Men's Soccer Championship. Seattle U is the active conference leader with five tournament championships (2013, '15, '17, '19, Fall '21) since joining the WAC.
THE SERIES AGAINST SAN JOSE STATE
San Jose State is one of Air Force's longest running series with 43 meetings between the teams. The Spartans lead the all-time series, 24-14-5. Air Force won the last two meetings— the 2020-21 WAC Tournament, 2-0, and in last season's regular season meeting at USAFA, 2-0. The Falcons have won the last three meetings at the Academy, cruising by SJSU, 4-0, in 2018.
THE SERIES AGAINST SEATTLE U
Air Force will be taking on Seattle U in the 17th all-time meeting between the programs. The Redhawks lead the all-time series, 8-6-2. Air Force has lost the last four meetings against SU and is 3-4 when playing the Redhawks at USAFA. The last six meetings between the team have been decided by a single goal.
MAKING HISTORY
For the first time ever, Air Force is 6-0 in conference action; however, in 2017, the Falcons went 8-0-2 on the conference slate (4-0-2 in the first six). Prior to 2018, the Falcons had a six-match undefeated start in the WAC in 1996, where they were 5-0-1 in the first six matches.
LAST WEEKEND
Air Force returned from its bye week with two more wins, improving to 6-0 in WAC play and running its current winning streak to seven matches overall. The Falcons downed UTRGV 2-1 on Oct. 21 and Houston Christian 3-1 on Oct. 23 in a pair of road tilts. Air Force has outscored opponents 16-5 during its current unbeaten streak, scoring multiple goals in six straight matches, to officially clinch a spot in the 2022 WAC Men's Soccer Championship.

Air Force has not allowed more than one goal since the beginning of the seven-match win streak, September 25. The Falcons have the third-best goals against average in the league (1.231), and senior goalie John Byszewski has the top save-percentage in the WAC (0.746).
DEWING THE JOB
Thaddaeus Dewing, a junior forward, sits atop the conference in total goals (10/12th in NCAA), total points (22/18th in NCAA), goals per game (0.77/8th in NCAA), game-winning goals (3/15th in NCAA) and points per game (1.69/15th in NCAA).
Dewing has scored a goal in eight of 13 matches this season, highlighted by his first career hat trick against a seasoned Utah Valley team on October 9. He is a two-time WAC Offensive Player of the Week
ANGELETTI ON TARGET
Senior midfielder Jake Angeletti leads AF with six assists this season, a mark that ranks him atop the WAC in total assists and assists per game (0.46). Four of Angeletti's six assist have come from the set piece, four of which led to header goals.
CLOCKING TIME
Linchpin defender and team captain London Aghedo leads all Falcons in career minutes played with 5080:36 minutes. Aghedo has started in all 59 career appearances for the most games started on the team. Senior midfielder Luke Hill has 64 career appearances, marking the most career appearances on the team.
