Air Force Hosts #7 UC Davis In Alumni Weekend Game

This Week: Air Force (20-5 overall, 1-0 WWPA) hosts #7 UC Davis (8-5, 1-0 WWPA) in a WWPA game Saturday, Oct. 8, at the Cadet Natatorium. Live video stream and stats will be available for the game, which is is set for a noon start.
Alumni Weekend: The UC Davis game will be part of alumni weekend at Air Force. Over 100 former water polo alumni are anticipated for the weekend. Later in the day after the UCD game, the alumni will take part in scrimmages in the Cadet Natatorium.
Special Presentation: Prior to the UC Davis match, a special presentation will take place. The presentation will begin at noon and will be broadcast on the video stream. The game will begin immediately following the presentation.

Air Force is 38-45 all-time vs. UC Davis.
Last year, the Aggies won 14-8, in Davis on Oct. 22, 2021.
Streaks: UC Davis has won 15 in a row in the series.
Last Win: Air Force's last win over UC Davis was in 2012. The Falcons won 15-11 at home.
Recapping Gary Troyer Invite: Air Force went 3-1 last week at the Gary Troyer Invite in Claremont, Calif. The Falcons defeated Cal Lutheran 19-10 and Whittier 21-9 on Friday. The Falcons fell to #12 Pepperdine, 17-15, in overtime and defeated Claremon-Mudd-Scripps 14-13 in 4OT on Saturday.
vs. Ranked Teams:
Air Force is 1-4 this season against nationally-ranked teams. The win came at home against #20 Navy.

The Falcons will join West Coast Conference for the 2023 season as part of a newly added sport to the WCC. Air Force will be an affiliate member of the WCC and will join WCC member institutions – Loyola Marymount, Pacific, Pepperdine and Santa Clara, along with fellow affiliate members California Baptist and San Jose State.
