Air Force men's water polo (23-10, 4-4 WWPA) capped the 2022 regular season with a 16-8 win at Fresno Pacific in WWPA action Sunday afternoon at Sunnyside Aquatics Center in Fresno, Calif. Air Force finishes the season tied for fourth place in the conference.
After playing to a 3-3 tie after the first quarter, the Falcons went on to out-score the Sunbirds 13-5 the rest of the way to roll to the win.
Grant Snyder, Cole Kopperud and Colin Chase notched hat-tricks for Air Force. Sam De La Cruz, Jacob Yi and Jackson Carter also scored two goals each. AJ Kuypers had six saves in the win. Luca Smith also had five saves in one quarter in reserve.
Air Force returns to action at the WWPA Championships, held Nov. 18-20 in Los Angeles, Calif.
