Air Force beat Army in dual meet

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – The Air Force rifle team, just one day after winning the President's Trophy, defeated Army, 4698-4666, in a dual meet in Annapolis, Md.
Sophomore Scott Rockett was the top shooter in aggregate scoring with an 1183. Rockett won both the smallbore (587) and air rifle (596) competitions. Army's Anusha Pakkam was second in aggregate and then the Falcons took the next six spots.
Sophomore Lauren Hurley was third in aggregate score with an 1174, shooting 583 in smallbore and 591 in air rifle. Junior Morgan Kreb shot 1172 (581 smallbore and 591 air rifle). Junior Dante Aletto shot 1169 aggregate (568 smallbore and 591 air rifle). Junior Peninah D'Souza came in at 1169, freshman Victoria Leppert shot 1164 and senior Jordan Williams shot 1161.
The Falcons will travel to Akron, Nov. 19, and Ohio State, Nov. 20.
