Air Force wraps up the road portion of the regular season this week with a pair of matches.
The Air Force volleyball team wraps up the road portion of the regular season this week, as it heads north on Interstate-25 for a pair of road contests at Wyoming and Colorado State. The Falcons will face the Cowgirls at the UniWyo Sports Complex in Laramie on Thursday, Nov. 10, before taking on the Rams at Moby Arena in Fort Collins on Saturday, Nov. 12.
MATCH INFORMATION
Thursday's match at Wyoming will begin at 5:30 p.m., while Saturday's contest at CSU is slated for a noon start. Live stats and video will be available for both matches, with direct links available on the team's schedule page. Wyoming is 10-16 on the year and 6-8 in conference play after dropping a pair of road contests to Nevada (2-3) and San Jose State (1-3) last week, while Colorado State, which will host New Mexico on Thursday, enters the week with a 17-8 overall record and a 10-4 mark in the Mountain West after falling to both San Jose State (1-3) and Nevada (0-3) on the road. The Cowgirls are led by Naya Shime, who averages 3.53 kills per MW set, which is the sixth-highest average in the conference. The Rams currently lead the conference in team (.271) and individual (Naeemah Weathers, .429) hitting, while also being ranked among the league's top four in team kills (13.13) and assists (12.11).

It was a big night at the net for Joi Harvey during the Falcons' victory over New Mexico on Nov. 1, as the junior recorded the 50th solo block of her career and became just the fifth Division I Falcon to record 100 assisted stops in a season in that match. Mac Russ also had a strong night with the block that night, as she collected the 25th solo stop of her career to debut on the program's career standings in the 25-point scoring era.

Air Force closes out the 2022 regular season next week, when it hosts Boise State and Utah State at the Academy's Cadet East Gym. The Falcons will face the Broncos on Nov. 17, before closing out the year against Utah State on Nov. 19.
