Air Force travels west this weekend, heading to Las Vegas, Nev., to compete in the 40th annual Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational on Friday and Saturday (Dec. 2-3) at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Action will begin at 9 a.m. PST both days of competition, with the championship round slated for 3 p.m. PST on Saturday afternoon.
This year's field will feature 34 teams, including 10 teams ranked in the most recent NWCA poll. The Falcons are sending forth HM Tucker Owens (125), No. 18 Cody Phippen (133), Garrett Kuchan (141), Dylan Martinez (149), Colton Woods (149), Gianno Petrucelli (157), Gage Musser (165), Noah Blake (184), Cal Sund (197), No. 6 Wyatt Hendrickson (HWT)
THE PRESEEDS
Air Force has a pair of wrestlers listed in the preseeds. Freshman Tucker Owens, an honorable mention ranked wrestler on Flo, is seeded 12. Wyatt Hendrickson, the sixth ranked heavyweight in the nation, is seeded sixth for the tournament. Full seedings can be found here.

Air Force heavyweight and team captain Wyatt Hendrickson won a title for the Falcons at the 44th Annual Navy Classic, Saturday afternoon, in Wesley A. Brown Field House at the U.S. Naval Academy. Eight Falcons placed in their respective divisions, highlighted by three finalists and an AF freshman's upset win against a nationally ranked wrestler.
Air Force freshman 125-pounder Tucker Owens put his name on the map after upending Lock Haven's No. 12 Anthony Noto in the semifinals, 6-5. Last season, Noto won the 2022 Mid-American Conference championship and the received the conference's Freshman of the Year nod. Owens finished second in the division.
