HOUSTON – Air Force concluded the third day of the 2022 Western Athletic Conference Men's Swimming and Diving Championships with a third WAC champion and the seventh school record of the event, Friday evening, at the CRWC Natatorium on the campus of the University of Houston.
Falcon Senior Adam Grimm, who had a hand in setting Academy records on Wednesday and Thursday, set another school record in the 400 IM (3:46.22). The speedy first-place finish put Grimm atop all Air Force and WAC 400 IM swimmers to date, while also earning a Division I B-cut time in the effort.
Air Force's Wen Zhang, who has broken two WAC and USAFA records so far this week, sped to another Academy and league record in the 200 freestyle (1:32.21), winning his second title of the championship event.

The Falcons' 400 medley relay team earned a podium finish as Grimm, Thomas Nagle, John Plutt and Zhang clocked a 3:12.15 for a second-place finish in the race.
AF's Thomas Nagle earned a Division I B-cut time in the 100 breast stroke, swimming to a 54.10 and sixth-place finish.
In diving, two-time podium finishing freshman Alex Kenyon, and senior teammate Jack Macceca, finished ninth and 10th, respectively, on the platform dive.
At the conclusion of day three, the Falcons improved to second place in the team standings (456). UNLV maintained their top-spot with 562 points. Wyoming is in third place with 444.33 team points.
The Falcons will conclude WAC Championship action, Saturday (Feb. 26) at the CRWC Natatorium.
