Falcon Wrestling Takes on No. 22 UNI, No. 5 Iowa State

Falcon wrestling travels to Iowa for a pair of Big 12 dual matches against No. 22 Northern Iowa (5-5, 4-2 Big 12), February 4, and No. 5 Iowa State (11-1, 4-0), February 5. Action in Cedar Falls is slated for a 7 p.m. CT start, while the Falcons and Cyclones will begin at 2 p.m. CT in Ames, Iowa.
IN THE NATIONAL RANKINGS
Sophomore standout Wyatt Hendrickson is receiving top-10 rankings in four-of-five major publications, boasting a No. 6 ranking in the NCAA Coaches Poll and Intermat. He ranks seventh on WrestleStat, eighth in WIN Magazine and 14th on Flo.
Air Force sophomore Sam Wolf is nationally ranked in three publications, checking in at No. 27 on WrestleStat, and No. 30 on Intermat and the NCAA Coaches rankings. Senior teammate Sidney Flores is No. 32 in the NCAA Coaches rankings.

Air Force 174-pounder No.32 Sam Wolf led the Falcons with a dominant 18-3 technical fall over Dajun Johnson. Giano Petrucelli, a sophomore 157-pounder, was the first to light the scoreboard for Air Force with a 4-1 decision over Kaleb Olejniczak. In the final bout, heavyweight standout Wyatt Hendrickson, who is ranked sixth in the nation, put up a convincing decision win against a strong Tyrell Gordon.
Northern Iowa was stacked with four nationally ranked wrestlers, highlighted by a fall from No. 31 Kyle Biscoglia in the 133 class. No. 4 Parker Keckeisen (184) and No. 20 Austin Yant (165) scored major decisions in their respective weights.
