Freshman Ella Martin impacted the AF record books with a 2:01.17 in the 200 backstroke to finish in 18th place with points, moving to No. 7 in the Academy's top times.
The Falcons' 800 free relay team comprised of Corinne Yorkman, Kara Gavin, Lauren Arnold, and Ella Martin, had an impressive showing, racing to a 12th place finish (7:30.31).
Ohio State claimed the event with 823 team points, while Florida International (623) and Tennessee (575.5) took second and third, respectively.
"This was a great post season experience for these six women," head coach Colleen Murphy said. "They stepped up and competed extremely well at the national level. We are so proud of their grit and determination; they did an amazing job at their first CSCAA National Championships."
