U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Freshman Christopher Park led the Falcons in the final round of the Bandon Dunes Championship at the Bandon Dunes Sheep Ranch Course, Tuesday, March 8, in Bandon, Ore.
Park shot 74 on the final day to tie for 30th overall at 221. The Plano, Texas, native shot 73-74-74 over the 54-hole tournament. Junior Isaac Layne shot 76 on the final day and came in at 232 for the tournament. Seniors Colter Baca and Jonathan Farmer shot 80 and freshman Cameron Kahle shot 81 in the final round.
Oregon won the team title with an 863 (+11). San Jose State was second (865), followed by ninth-ranked Kansas (866) and Utah (873). Air Force was 15th with a 923.
Air Force is idle until the Stitch Invitational, hosted by North Carolina State, April 8-9, in Raleigh, N.C.
