Air Force Downed By Colorado State Saturday

Air Force women's tennis dropped a 4-2 contest to Colorado State in Mountain West action Saturday in a neutral-site match in Laramie, Wyo. The Falcons fell to 13-4, 2-1 MW, while the Rams improved to 8-6, 2-1 MW.

Colorado State opened by taking the doubles points. The Falcons won at No. 1 doubles, as Karina Chao and Vivian Glozman defeated Richterova/Dalla-Bona 6-4.

The Falcons went 2-3 in singles, with win at No. 1 and 4. Glozman won at No. 1 over Somer Dalla-Bona 6-1, 7-5. Karina Chao, the reigning Mountain West freshman of the week, defaeted Matea Mihaljevic at No. 4, 6-4, 6-1.

The Falcons return to action Sunday at Wyoming.
