Women’s Swimming Celebrates Season at Annual Awards Banquet

USAF ACADEMY – The women's swimming team brought the 2021-22 campaign officially to a close at the annual awards banquet, Wednesday evening at the Air Force Academy. The Falcons finished with a 6-7-1 record and a seventh-place finish at the league tournament. Individually, the squad impacted the program record books 31 times on the season.
MVP – Corbyn Cormack, Fr.

Freshman swimmer Corbyn Cormack was tabbed the team's MVP. Cormack led all swimmers in first-place finishes on the season, etching her name into the program record books in five events, highlighted by a new program standard in the 100 butterfly. She has the second-best time in Academy history in the 200 IM, sixth-best in the 200 back stroke, and eighth-best in both the 200 breast stroke and 400 IM. She clocked two NCAA B-Cut times in her freshman campaign and swam her way to a second-place podium finish in the 200 individual medley at the Mountain West Championships.

Lindsey Brown Most Inspiration Award

Lindsay Brown passed away in a car accident on 21 December 2007- She was 19 years of age. Lindsay loved her team and desired that the swimmers and divers have a uniquely positive team atmosphere. Those recognized by their teammates as Most Inspirational are those who work towards creating the kind of loving and supportive team that every athlete desires to be a part of. Criteria for Consideration:
-Thinks of others First
-Is Quick to Forgive
-Can be Trusted
-Is Dedicated
