
Fiori earns silver at USA Shooting National Championships

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Former Air Force shooter Peter Fiori, a 2022 Academy graduate, earned the silver medal in smallbore at the 2022 USA Shooting National Championships, Sunday, June 19, at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Fiori shot a 579 on the first day, a 586 on day two and a 588 on day three. His three-day score of 1753 put him in the finals where he finished second and earned the silver in the men's open smallbore division.
A Lebanon, N.J. native, and eight-time NCAA All-American, Fiori was an alternate for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. A three-time Air Force rifle MVP, he was the Patriot Conference champion in aggregate and smallbore and was the gold medalist at the National Junior Olympic Shooting Championships.
