Women's Soccer welcomes freshman class

USAFA, Colo.- Air Force women's soccer has announced the addition of 12 players to its 2022 roster, a talent-laden group representing vast regions of the country. The class of 2026 is currently in the process of completing Basic Cadet Training (BCT). Upon successful conclusion of BCT, the respective athletes will be accepted into the Cadet Wing on August 5.
"I think being a new staff, we're excited about this new opportunity to work with a large group of freshmen," said head coach Laura Busby. "I'm excited about what this class can bring in, in terms of depth and attitude. They've all come from really strong club backgrounds and a great foundation. In terms of competitive mentality, they're going to come in hungry to make an impact straightaway.
"I'm excited for what this group will bring to an already-strong team dynamic. We have a great group of returning players and I'm confident that we're going to start the season off strong, and I'm excited to bring these freshmen into the fold."
