
Falcon Trio Lands on CSC Academic All-District Team

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo., - A trio of Falcons, Chase Borntreger, Annika Jost, and Caeli Sherman, were selected to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team ®, as released by officials on Tuesday morning.
Borntreger, a midfielder, earned her second CSC Academic All-District selection after picking up career highs of three goals and three assists for nine points on the season. The political science major started 18 of 19 matches for 975 minutes of play.
An electrical and computer engineering major, Jost, made her way onto the selection list for the first time in her career. After starting all matches of the season and recording 25 points off 10 goals and five assists, Jost was named the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Year, just the second in Air Force history, and All-Conference First Team.
Forward, Sherman, was honored by CSC for the first time in her career. The senior took five starts and scored one goal for the Falcons in her 643 minutes on the pitch.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a 3.50 GPA, have a minimum of one year completed at their current institution and have played in at least 90% of their team's contests from the current season.
