Falcons Improve In Day Two At Wolf Pack Invite

Air Force men's tennis completed day two competition at the Wolf Pack Invitational, hosted by Nevada in Reno, Nev. Saturday.
After posting a 9-7 overall record Friday, the Falcons went 8-4 on Saturday.
Air Force had a pair of strong doubles wins. Arjun Kersten and AJ Moore combined to win their line two doubles bracket by beating Necz/Djakouris of UC Davis 8-7 (4). Justin Waldman and Nick Vroman also won in doubles over Benn/Zisswiller of Nevada 8-5.
Kersten also won in singles over Necz or UCD 4-6, 7-6 (13), 6-2 and plays in the finals of the line one bracket on Sunday.
Vroman backed up the best win of his career yesterday by beating another all-MW player from Nevada in Batalla 7-5, 6-3. Vroman plays for the line two title tomorrow.
Moore saved more match points today winning another third set tiebreaker with his 5-7, 7-6 (5), 10-7 win over Davis of Nevada. Moore plays for the line five title tomorrow.
Combined, the freshmen group are 6-0 in singles so far on the weekend. Moore and Kersten lead the team in wins, both going 5-0.
The Falcons complete play Sunday.
