Air Force, which is ranked third in team hitting (.245), boasts two of the four most accurate attackers in the league, with Mac Russ ranked fourth with a .361 average. BARNETT PICKS UP AIR FORCE WIN #50
Keith Barnett earned his 50th Air Force coaching victory during the Falcons' sweep of San Jose State on Oct. 21 – becoming the fastest coach in program history to collect that milestone number of Division I wins. Just the fourth coach to reach the 50-win plateau in any division (11 coaches) and second at Division I (four coaches), Barnett recorded Win #50 in just over four years – with one season drastically shortened due to the pandemic, bettering the previous DI speed by two years and 59 matches.
WHAT'S ON DECK
The Falcons head back out on the road next week, as it opens the month of November with conference matches at Utah State (Nov. 2) and Boise State (Nov. 4).
