
Getting To Know The Falcon Freshmen: Wesley Celichowski and Luke Kearney

In preparation for the upcoming 2023-24 season, Air Force men's basketball is introducing its freshman class with a weekly introduction. Our third installment welcomes freshmen Wesley Celichowski and Luke Kearney to the program.
Wesley Celichowski
Height/Weight: 7-0, 245
Position: Center
Hometown: Georgetown, IN
Previous School: USAFA Prep/Floyd Central HS
Wesley Celichowski is a seven-foot center from Georgetown, Ind. Celichowski played at Floyd Central High School in Floyds Knobs, Ind., where he helped lead the team to two Hoosier Hills Conference titles and two sectional titles. Celichowski earned All-HHC honors as a senior, in addition to being named an HBCA All-Star and Hoosier Basketball Magazine Top 60 workout. Celichowski played AAU ball for the Louisville Legends and credits his AAU coach Dion Lee as having the biggest influence on his sports career. Celichowski comes from a sports family as both his parents played college basketball, with his mother also playing college volleyball. Celichowski's sister, Callie Jo, plays volleyball at Grace College.
Luke Kearney
Height/Weight: 6-7, 205
Position: Forward
Hometown: Phoenix, AZ
Previous Schools: USAFA Prep/Bella Vista Prep
Luke Kearney is a 6-foot-7 forward from Phoenix, Ariz. Kearney played for Bella Vista College Prep, where he averaged 15 points per game in the Grind Session. Prior to his stint at Bella Vista, Kearney played at O'Connor High School, where he averaged 19 points per game and earned all-region honors. Kearney comes from a sports family as both of his parents played college basketball. His brother, Finn, is committed to play volleyball at the University of Hawaii.
