Air Force defeated after late Nevada score

COLORADO SPRINGS- A deadlock through the first 83 minutes, Air Force suffered a late Nevada goal, as the Falcons were defeated 1-0 by the Wolfpack.

In the 84th minute, a Nevada pass into the box was converted into a score by Brooklyn Blake. Conversely, of Air Force's 16 total shots, the Falcons managed just four attempts on goal.

Addie Doyle's pace gave the Wolfpack issues for most of the afternoon, as the freshman led Air Force with four total shots, including one on goal. Kendall Rippley, Mia Otero, and Katie Wotta each provided the Falcons remaining shots on goal.

Of the Falcons true opportunities at goal, Rippley and Doyle each narrowly missed chances from within the 18-yard box. Defensively, Sydney Davis provided saves on four of her five chances.

The Sunday loss represents the third match this season Air Force was unable to muster a score, as the Falcons are now 1-3-1 in their last five matches.

Next, Air Force hits the road, traveling to Laramie to play Wyoming on Thursday, October 12. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 pm MT.
