
Women’s tennis caps fall season at Colorado Cup

The fall season and in-competition preparations for the spring come to a close for the Air Force women's tennis team, as the Falcons' final stop before dual play takes them to Denver for the Colorado Cup, held Nov. 10-12 at the Denver Tennis Park.
Each day will feature one hidden dual, with the Falcons opening on Saturday. The weekend's full schedule as follows:
Denver vs. Weber State: Friday, 11:30 a.m.
Air Force vs. Weber State: Saturday, 12:30 p.m.
Air Force vs. Denver: Sunday, 10 a.m.
Each dual will feature two rounds of doubles (single set with a tiebreak at 6-all) followed by one round of singles (best of three sets with a full third set played).
Matches will be live streamed via track.tennis.

Air Force faced off against Army, Navy and Georgetown at the Army and Navy Country Club in Washington, D.C., Oct. 27-29.
Senior Isabella Flodin won two of her first singles matches on the weekend, claiming straight-set wins in both contests.
Junior Alexis Odom earned wins in her final two singles contests, taking down 2023 All-Patriot League First-Team selection Cooper Jackson (Army) in a three-set battle on the final day. Odom enters the weekend in Denver the winner of three of her last four matches. Odom, along with freshman Nadia Kojonroj, earned their first doubles victory as a pair on day two against Georgetown, defeating Olivia Ashton/Tatiana Zelenko, 8-2.
Newcomer duo Amy Park/Giovanna Sanchirico earned their first doubles win as a pair on the final day of competition against Army, taking down Alexandra Oshidar/Stacey Samonte in an 8-5 battle, marking Park's first career doubles win and Sanchirico's fourth.
