No. 73 Air Force men's tennis dropped a 4-3 road match at Nevada in Mountain West action Saturday afternoon at McArthur Tennis Complex in Reno, Nev. The Falcons dropped to 11-4 on the season.
Nevada (6-5) opened by taking the doubles point, winning at No. 1 and No. 3. Air Force's duo of Arjun Kersten and Phillip Deaton won at No. 2 over Benn/Zisswiller 6-3.
The Falcons and Wolf Pack split the singles competition 3-3.
Arjun Kersten, who moved up to No. 1 singles, won over Pedro Liboria 6-3, 6-7 (10-8), 6-2 to tie the match up. The Falcons then went ahead 2-1 after Jack Brown won at No. 5 over Loris Zisswiller (7-6 (7-4), 6-2. Air Force extended its lead to 3-1 after Phillip Deaton won at No. 3 over Youssef Kadiri 6-2, 7-6 (7-4).
Nevada then rallied to win by winning the final three singles matches, clinching in the final match in three set at No. 4.
Air Force is slated to return to action April 1, hosting Drake.
