Mountain West Standings

Owning a share of first place in the Mountain West with just two weeks of regular-season competition remaining, the Air Force women's tennis team heads to San Jose State for its next pair of dual matches, facing Nevada on Friday morning and host Spartans on Saturday afternoon.

Falcons at a Glance:
Air Force currently possesses a five-match win streak, elevating the Falcons to 5-1 in league play.

The Falcons are 6-0 as a team against league opponents in doubles play; On court two, Isabella Flodin/Abby Cotuna went 2-0 on the weekend in doubles competition to improve to 10-3 this spring; Court one duo Alexis Odom/Sydney Fitch also own a 10-3 record, having gone 7-3 over their last ten completed contests.

Both freshmen Abby Cotuna and Arianna Van Houweling continue to anchor singles on courts five and six, respectively, each winning their fourth and fifth-straight singles matches over the previous weekend to push five-match win streaks for both Air Force competitors.

Last Time Out:
The Falcons downed Utah State on Senior Day at the USAFA tennis courts, claiming a hard-fought 4-2 victory in which the Aggies challenged Air Force on nearly every court.

Cadet-Athlete of the Week Courtney Swift, in her career home finale, clinched both the doubles point and team win for the Falcons. In singles, Swift claimed victory in a three-set battle which was decided in the tiebreaker, with Swift claiming an 8-6 victory to secure her court and the team win.
