Women's Swim & Dive sees school-best 23 cadet-athletes named Academic All-Mountain West

COLORADO SPRINGS- On Monday, 1,162 student-athletes were named to the Spring 2023 Academic All-Mountain West team, the Conference announced. Spring sports include women's swimming and diving, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's indoor and outdoor track and field, men's and women's golf, men's and women's tennis, softball and baseball

The women's swimming and diving program highlighted the Falcons success in the classroom, as the 23 selections to the Academic All-Mountain West Team were the most by any Mountain West affiliated program at Air Force. The 23 cadet-athletes are as follows:

Women's Swimming and Diving (23):

A season ago, the Falcons set a program record with 27 selections to the 2021-22 Academic All-Conference Team. To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and competed in 50 percent of the teams completed varsity contests. Some latitude was permitted to accommodate injured student-athletes.
