Falcons Announce Fall Boxing Schedule - Air Force Academy Athletics

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. – The Air Force boxing team, under the direction of ninth-year head coach Blake Baldi, announced its schedule for the upcoming 2023 fall season – a lineup that features three contests within the friendly confines of the Academy and service academy showdowns with both Navy and Army West Point – the latter being held at Fillmore Auditorium in Denver.

The Falcons, who captured their 20th NCBA team championship last spring, kick off the 2023-24 season with the first of three fall Friday Night Fights on Sept 29. Air Force will also host intrasquad competitions in the Cadet Gym Boxing Room on Oct. 6 and Nov. 17.

Air Force will also spend three-straight weeks competing against its service academy counterparts, beginning with a road trip to Navy on Oct. 20. The Falcons will face both academies at the Chuck Davey Invitational in Detroit on Oct. 27, before hosting Army West Point in Denver on Nov. 3. The Falcons will round out the fall semester with November competitions in Reno (Reno Invitational, Nov. 10) and New York City (Arthur Mercante Invitational, Nov. 20).

The men have accounted for 20 team titles and 17 runner-up finishes since joining the NCBA in 1980, while the women have amassed 21 individual medals in their six years of NCBA competition.
