HISTORY 101
The Falcons, making their first appearance at Pre-Nats since 2018, have competed at that meet 20 times in the last 32 years. The men have finished third twice (1999, 2001), while the women's best finish (10th) came during each of their last two appearances (2016, 2018).Former standout Hannah Everson holds the best individual finish in program history, as she finished second at the 2015 meet – the same year Patrick Corona collected the men's best individual finish (12th).
MEN HOLD AT NO. 28
The #AFXC men remained No. 28 in the latest USTFCCCCA Division I National Coaches Poll on Oct. 8. The Falcons have now been mentioned in the national conversation (either ranked or receiving votes) for 59-straight weeks – a program-record streak that dates back to the opening poll of the 2017 season.
THE NEXT COURSE
With the regular season complete, Air Force turns its attention to the championship portion of the 2024 campaign – a season that begins at the Academy on Friday, Nov. 1, when the Falcons host the Mountain West Cross Country Championships at Eisenhower Golf Course.
