
Falcon Swimming Slated to Compete at Denver this Saturday

The Air Force men's and women's swim and dive teams are slated to compete in the El Pomar Natatorium at the University of Denver, Saturday (Oct. 19). The AF men's team will dual against the Pioneers while Washington State women's swimming will join the battle with AF and DU women's swimming. Action between the Falcons and Cougars will serve as a Mountain West Conference meet. The swimming portion of Saturday's meet will begin at 11 a.m. MT before diving begins its portion of the double dual at 3:30 p.m. MT.

The men's swimming and diving team outscored Nebraska-Omaha in back-to-back dual meets, Friday and Saturday, at Cadet Natatorium. The Falcons claimed 21 first-place finishes, highlighted by a sweep across all relay races. The women's team chalked up four dual meet wins over the weekend, outpacing Nebraska-Omaha and Liberty University on Friday and again Saturday. The Falcons claimed 11 first place finishes over the two-day event.
PERKINS TABBED MW DIVER OF THE WEEK
Air Force freshman Chloe Perkins was named the MW Diver of the Week along with weekly award winners Reka Nyiradi of San Diego State (Mountain West Swimmer of the Week), and Kaydence Bispo (MW Freshman of the Week). The honor marks a career first for Perkins, and the first weekly award for any Falcon swimmer this season.

- Helped the Falcons to a 4-0 record on the weekend in meets against Omaha and Liberty.
- In the 1-meter springboard, she recorded a score of 245.85 on back-to-back days, placing first and second.
- In the 3-meter springboard on Friday, logged a first-place score of 281.40, surpassing the NCAA Diving Zone standard.
- In the 3-meter springboard on Saturday, registered a score of 278.25, placing first, two points shy of the NCAA Diving Zone standard.
