Falcons Drop Game To #5 Fordham Sunday At Fraser Memorial

Fordham took control of the game in the first quarter, out-scoring the Falcons 9-4. The Rams would go into the half leading 13-6. Air Force had a better second half on the offensive end, scoring five goals in both the third and fourth quarters.
Leggett scored nine points, with his seven goals and two assists. For the weekend, he tallied 29 points on 22 goals and seven assists. Leggett now has 121 goals on the season, two shy of the school record of 123 set by Grant Snyder in 2022.
Sophomore Jack Richards scored four goals and one assist for 5 points. Richards scored 10 goals over the weekend at the Fraser tournament. Junior Colin Chase also had a hat trick with three goals, to go with one assist for four points. Freshman Brady Kopperud had three assists and freshman Gavin Honken and senior Jacob Yi added two assists each. Luca Smith had eight saves in goal.
Air Force returns to action with a pair of home games this coming weekend. The Falcons host Cal Baptist on Friday, Nov. 1 and Pacific of Sunday, Nov. 3.
