Over 800 wrestlers are expected to take part with as many 18 mats (down to 14 after several rounds) in use, making this the largest college tournament in the country. The list includes NCAA Division I and Division II schools, NAIA institutions and junior colleges. The event is open to all post high school wrestlers and there will be "Amateur" and "Elite" brackets.
COMING UP
The Falcons take a short break in action before heading out to the Cleveland State Open, December 7. Action in Woodling Gymnasium is slated for a 9 am ET start. A second contingent of Falcons will head to Hays, Kansas, to compete at the Bob Smith Open, December 8.

The Air Force wrestling team put on a strong performance at the competitive Warren Williamson Daktronics Open at South Dakota State's Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex. The Falcons battled some of the top competition in the country in round-robin tournament action, taking on an all-B1G/Big 12 field. Air Force tangled with wrestlers from No. 3 Nebraska, No. 8 South Dakota State, No. 11 Minnesota, No. 15 Arizona State, No. 30 Oklahoma, and North Dakota State.

- Freshman 197-pounder Brian Burburija is ranked #30 by Flo after knocking off #23 Bradley Hill (OU) at the Daktronics Open
- Sam Barber enters his 11th season at the helm of the Air Force wrestling program in 2024-25. Barber has led Falcons to two top-25 NCAA team finishes, two NCAA Div. I All-American honors, 31 National Qualifiers, two Big 12 Champions, and 38 Big 12 medalists. He helped lead eight cadet-athletes that have competed on the international stage garnering a United World Wrestling World Champion and Pan-American Champion
- Coach Elroy Perkin is in his first season as assist coach at AF after a few seasons with CBU
- Tucker Owens is a 2023 NCAA Qualifier, the only current qualifier on the team
- Four freshman earned starting spots on the dual meet roster
