Top-ranked Kentucky wins tri-meet at Air Force

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Top-ranked Kentucky won a tri-meet at Air Force's Cadet Rifle Range, Saturday, Nov. 23.
Kentucky shot a 4728, while No. 12 Akron was second with a 4696 and No. 8 Air Force was third at 4692.
Kentucky's Sam Adkins won the aggregate with an 1186. Air Force senior Lauren Hurley was third in aggregate at 1183. Freshman Lily Wytko was seventh overall at 1174.
Hurley was third in air rifle (597) and fourth in smallbore at 586. Wytko was fourth in air rifle (595) while Victoria Leppert was 10th (592). Wytko was 11th in smallbore (579).
Air Force will battle Kentucky and Akron again on Sunday, Nov. 24, at the Olympic Training Center at 8 am MT.
