Air Force Downed At (RV/--) Boise State

BOISE, Idaho - Air Force men's basketball (8-13, 1-8 MW) fell 94-56 at Boise State (16-6, 7-2 MW) in Mountain West play Saturday night at ExtraMile Arena. Jeffrey Mills led Air Force with 17 points.

Boise State shot 60 percent from the field and 56 from three point range. Forward Tyson Degenhart scored a career-high 29 points to lead five Broncos in double-figures scoring.

Air Force went back-and-forth with Boise State for much of the first half, with the lead changing hands eight times. The Falcons led 27-25 at the 6:54 mark before the Broncos took control of the game with a 16-0 run to end the half.

Mills tied his career-high for points. He made a career-high five three's on six attempts.

Beau Becker added 13 points, making three three's. Byron Brown led the bench with eight points and four rebounds.

Ethan Taylor and Rytis Petraitis had team-high's of five rebounds each. Freshman Wesley Celichowski made his collegiate debut for the Falcons, logging three minutes in reserve.

Air Force returns to action Tuesday, Feb. 6, hosting San Diego State. The game tips at 8:30 pm MT.
