
Baker leads Falcons for second straight day in San Diego

U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. – Freshman Carson Baker led the Air Force golf team for the second straight day at the UC San Diego Invitational at Torrey Pines North Course, Monday, March 25, in La Jolla, Calif.
Baker birdied three holes and shot 75 on the second day of the three-day, 54-hole, tournament. Over 36 holes, Baker leads the Falcons and is tied for 33rd overall at 149 (+5). Sophomore Alvaro Fonseca shot a 76 in round two and sits at 154 for the tournament. Freshman Eli Huntington and junior Cameron Kahle each shot 79 and sophomore Brooks Morrell shot 82 in the second round.
Three Falcons are competing as individuals. Junior Chirstopher Park shot 78 in each round and is at 154 for the tournament. Aaron Kuznik is at 158 and Eric Liveringhouse is at 164.
North Dakota State leads the tournament with a 577. Idaho is second at 582. Air Force is in 17th place with a 618 after shooting 309 in each round.
The Falcons are back on the course for the final round Tuesday, March 26, at 7 am PT in La Jolla.
