With one match ahead of the 2024 Mountain West Tournament, the Air Force women's tennis team makes its return to the Academy to close out the 2024 dual season hosting New Mexico at 11 a.m. at the Cadet Gym.
Prior to first serve, the Falcons will honor their team captain and upcoming 2024 Academy graduate, C1C Isabella Flodin. Upon graduation, Flodin, a political science major with minors in French and Spanish, will be headed to Strasboug, France, to pursue a graduate degree before beginning flight training.
The Falcons, sporting a combined 20 singles wins, are led in victories by freshman Nadia Kojonroj, owning a 7-5 record. Flodin, Alexis Odom and Arianna Van Houweling each possess four wins apiece. In doubles, Air Force sports ten wins, led by line two duo Kojonroj/Odom's four.

Taking on Wyoming in Laramie, the Air Force women's tennis team fell, 4-0, on Apr. 18 at the UW Tennis Complex.
Wyoming clinched the doubles point on lines three and one in order. Joselyn Limbago/Giovanna Sanchirico fell 6-0 to 9-5 Wyoming pair Jeselle Ante/Lucia Malinak.
On line one, Arianna Van Houweling/Nadia Kojonroj dropped their set, 6-3, against Violetta Borodina/Sophie Zehender. On court two, Isabella Flodin/Alexis Odom were locked into a 5-5 affair with Noesjka Brink/Nikol Dobrilova, when Wyoming clinched the point, and their match was abandoned.
In singles play, the Falcons went down on courts three, two and one in order. Flodin, facing off against Borodina on line three, went down 6-1, 6-1. Kojonroj, facing a 24-8 Brink on court two, fell 6-2, 6-1.
Odom, facing Ante on court four, came back to tie the opening set at 4-4 and battled to a 6-6 tie, but went down 7-3 in the tiebreak to fall 7-6. Odom was down 1-0 in the second when Wyoming secured the clinch.
Van Houweling, facing Zehender on the top court, was tied 3-3 in the opening set before falling the rest of the way in the set. The sophomore won back-to-back games in the second to trail just 5-4, but Zehender won the deciding set to secure the win for the Cowgirls.
